Often it starts out simply by stopping off to find a memento for someone back home or maybe a new beach towel to replace the one you left on the table at home.  Whatever the case we may as well accept that shopping is part of any Wisconsin Dells vacation. The trick is to make it as enjoyable as possible and of course not to lose your head!

Shopping in Wisconsin Dells should always start out on the strip in Downtown Wisconsin Dells.  It’s the “Dells Experience”. Expect busy sidewalks, cars with thumbing base boxes, haunted houses, roaring dragons, t-shirts, towels and giant trolls and more. Even if you don’t buy a thing, you should spend an afternoon or evening walking the strip simply for the experience.   Be sure to stop by the little Dairy Queen stand along the way.
