Long before Wisconsin Dells was known as the “Waterpark Capitol of the World”, Wisconsin Dells was still famous the world over for the natural beauty of  sandstone cliffs and rock formations along the Wisconsin River that give the “Dells” it’s name.  Maybe you’ve seen that famous photograph from 1886 of a man jumping across to Stand Rock?  It was images like this from H.H. Bennet and others that placed the foundations for tourism in Wisconsin Dells.  People were amazed by this unique natural sculpture hidden away in the heart of Wisconsin.

At WisDells.net our goal is to guide you not only to the monster water parks, but also to the many natural attractions that often cost little to enjoy.   We’ll focus on camping, hiking & bike trails, beaches, boat tours, duck tours, canoes & kayaks and other fun family activities you can enjoy in the Wisconsin Dells area.  We’ll also help you to find some unique and out of the way Dells area lodging choices including rustic cabins, cottages, and small family owned hotels as well as lake side resorts.   We’re just kicking off this new project at WisDells.net.  Stop back often, contribute if you like, and remember it’s your vacation.. feel free to relax.
